The word vishaka means 'one pointed' and the symbol is finish line. This is the "Star of Purpose" and the 16th nakshatra of the zodiac, spanning from 20°-00' in Libra to 3°-20' in Vrichika. The nakshatra is also called ‘the folk’ or ‘the two branched’. It is therefore also represented by the image of large tree with spreading branches.
