Polish surgeon, founder and publisher of the first surgical journal in Poland, "Overview of Surgery", head of the Hospital in Warsaw. Medical studies began in Warsaw, where he began working in the Department of Anatomy and surgical clinic. He participated in the Russo-Turkish War as a surgeon. After returning from the army briefly he worked at the Department of Surgery J. Kosinski was prosector and actual descriptive anatomy professor at the Imperial University of Warsaw, then a professor at the hospital attendant's School in Warsaw. From 1883 he began to work as a doctor and a local assistant at the Department of Surgery Hospital of the Infant Jesus. In 1886 he became its chief of staff. He brought proceedings antiseptic according to the latest contemporary methods, proved the importance of such conduct for the successful results of operations. As the first in Poland established the indications for surgical treatment of gallbladder disease. In the years 1885-1906 104 out of 119 operations on bile ducts made in Poland, were performed by Krajewski. In 1893 he founded his own expense, and published the first magazine in Poland surgical - "Overview of Surgery." He died 4 March 1907. Link to Wikipedia biography (Polish)
