Dutch comic, actress and "Schlager" singer. She was a daughter of the accordion player Piet van Gorp ((3 October 1915, Rotterdam - 23 March 2008, Rotterdam), who was part of the accordion trio "The Three Jacksons". She became in the early 70s known nationally when she and William Nijholt acted in two theater shows of Wim Sonneveld. In 1975 she played a lead roles in the musical "Een kannibaal als jij en ik" (A cannibal like you and me) of Freek de Jonge and Bram Vermeulen . That year she was seen for the first time in the revue of comic André van Duin . Along with Frans van Dusschoten those years they formed a popular vaudeville group. Andre Van Duin helped her with a number of carnival hits and movie roles. Her greatest successes were "Zo slank zijn als je dochter" (So slim as your daughter, 1977), "Alie van de Wegenwacht" (1980) and "Ik ben tamboer" (I am drummer, 1981). In 1978 she released the album Corrie van Gorp, with the single "Een Hollandse Boerenmeid" (A Dutch Peasant Girl, 1978). On 24 September 2006 she held her last scheduled performance in Exloo, but on 27 February 2009 she reappeared on Dutch television in Van Duin's Dik Voormekaar Show as Mrs. De Bok. Personal On 2 June 1980 she married the barkeeper Tom Kamlag in Amsterdam. In 2015 she had a rampant year and recovered from a stroke. Link to Dutch Wikipedia
