From Breakdown to Breakthrough

AstroNidan was not born out of business ambition. It was born from a personal breakdown — and the quiet awakening that followed.

In 2016, life was unfolding just as I had planned. With an IIM Lucknow degree and years of hard work behind me, I had built a promising career. That year, I interned at CarDekho, a fast-growing startup that planted a powerful seed in my mind — the dream to one day build something of my own.

But by 2017, life took an unexpected turn. My marriage, once a source of hope, spiraled into conflict and long legal battles. Everything I had worked for — my confidence, clarity, and sense of control — began to unravel.

“You might be going through Sade Sati.”

I almost laughed. I believed in data, logic, and science — not astrology. But something about that phrase lingered. And that’s where everything started to shift.

🔍 The Deep Dive Into Astrology

I began to read. At first out of curiosity — but soon with an intensity I couldn’t explain. I studied over 200 books, including six different translations of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika, Saravali, and more. To truly grasp their meaning, I even learned Sanskrit — decoding the original shlokas for their layered insights.

And while doing all of this, I was also working full-time. The impact was powerful. I didn’t just start understanding astrology — I started thinking in a completely new dimension. My mind became sharper. Patterns became visible everywhere — in people, in business, in life. This inner shift even transformed how I performed at work.

🚀 Innovation Awakens

While pursuing astrology on the side, my professional life started to reflect the change:

💡 Winner of the Global Innovation Challenge in both 2019 and 2021
💡 Winner of iFactor (Large-scale Innovative Idea Challenge) in 2019 and Runner-up in 2024
🗄️ Filed three patents (two granted), focused on cutting-edge solutions:

ProSocial — Tackled provider directory inaccuracy using gamification, crowdsourcing, and geofencing techniques.
Uniblock — Addressed Coordination of Benefits (COB) challenges with an innovative blockchain solution to detect fraud, waste, and abuse.
EIPersona — Applied bootstrapped five-factor personality models to enhance resolution in customer service environments.

💼 The Startup Attempts

But my dream of building something meaningful wasn’t new. Alongside all of this, I was chasing it in parallel — and failing forward.

Between 2018 and 2022, I explored four diverse startup ideas — each born from curiosity, insight, and the desire to solve meaningful problems:

TradeManthan — A statistical enhancement over the Black-Scholes model for options pricing and hedging, factoring in volatility spikes and their likelihood for more realistic valuation.
BVerge — A marketplace platform inspired by OLX, designed to improve transparency, discoverability, and valuation for SMEs and MSMEs across India.
Glomera — A wellness-focused cosmetics brand dedicated to crafting organic and herbal skincare products rooted in Ayurvedic principles.
OptPro — A real-time options trading simulator that enabled automated, risk-averse strategy execution through smart decision logic and live market feeds.

I built MVPs. I tested markets. Each one fell short — either due to technical, timing, execution, or market mismatch. But none of it went to waste. Each failure sharpened me. Each idea helped me understand what not to do. And through it all, astrology remained — not just as a side interest, but as a guiding force.

🌱 The Birth of Purpose

Then the predictions I made for myself started unfolding, one by one:

✔ The birth of my son in 2024
✔ Career, growth and peace — exactly when seen in my chart

It was no longer just personal. It was proof. I wasn’t meant to just use this knowledge. I was meant to share it.

That’s when AstroNidan was born — not as a commercial product, but as a mission.

To bring clarity, confidence, and preparation to people’s lives through astrology that is explainable, ethical, and backed by data.

Because astrology isn’t about fate. It’s about timing. And with the right timing — we rise.
